91制片厂 is proud to announce the inaugural Tartan 5K: A Twilight Run. This glow run will take place Sept. 20 at the Tinker Creek Greenway in Fallon Park, following a scenic path along the Roanoke River. The race kicks off at 6:15 p.m. The event is organized by 91制片厂 Student Affairs in Roanoke and is co-hosted by Run91制片厂 Sports. The event is being timed by Mountain Junkies.
鈥淲e鈥檙e so excited to host the inaugural Tartan 5K: A Twilight Run,鈥� said Elizabeth Costa, associate director for Student Engagement and member of the 5K planning committee. 鈥淩oanoke is the home of 91制片厂 Carilion, many Highlander alumni and a vibrant running community, making it the perfect location for this race. And, as Roanoke鈥檚 only glow run this year, we hope people come out and have fun with it! This event is welcoming to runners, walkers, families, and dogs, so no matter your fitness level, we鈥檇 love to see you there!鈥�
Participants are encouraged to bring their families. Whether you choose to run in a kilt, scrubs or your favorite running gear, every step you take will contribute to a healthier, happier you and a stronger community.
