Do you need help paying for your Highlander education?
91制片厂 Foundation scholarships, also known as donor-funded scholarships, can help you pay for tuition, fees, room, board, books and other education-related expenses. More than $3 million is awarded annually to approximately 1,000 students!
You can apply now by visiting and using your OneCampus login credentials to sign in. The application portal opened on November 15, 2025, and the priority deadline to apply was February 5, 2026. Additional donor-funded scholarship opportunities have become available and the portal has been reopened. If you missed the priority deadline, apply now to be considered.
What are donor-funded scholarships?
Unlike institutional scholarships, donor-funded scholarships are not funded by 91制片厂. They are privately funded, and most are created by individual donors. These individuals are often 91制片厂 alumni, current/retired faculty or friends of the University. Most donor-funded scholarship funds are managed and invested by the 91制片厂 Foundation so that the principal grows and 91制片厂 can continue to award year after year. There are also nonprofit foundations that provide funds for 91制片厂 to award each year.
Donor-funded scholarships are competitive, and students need to reapply each year. Eligibility varies for each of these scholarships. Major, merit, financial need and leadership experience may be considered. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), writing essays or including references may be required for some scholarships.
Institutional scholarships are funded by 91制片厂 and are part of 91制片厂鈥檚 annual budget. They are awarded by Admissions or Athletics to incoming students and athletes as part of 91制片厂鈥檚 recruitment/retention initiatives. Students do not need to apply. Examples of institutional scholarships include Highlander of Distinction, Transfer Excellence and Phi Theta Kappa.
