  • What is the IMPACT Lab?
    The Vinod Chachra IMPACT Lab at 91制片厂 is delivering online, self-paced, competency-based education (CBE) in high-demand workforce areas (cybersecurity, geospatial intelligence, data science, and K-12 education). Our CBE approach focuses on teaching specific job-related skills needed to complete a critical task within the workplace.
  • Is financial aid available for any of the IMPACT programs?
    Financial aid is not available at this time.
  • What is the course start time?
    A learner can apply at any time and will be placed in the next available term following application submission.
  • How long do I have to complete my micro-credential, course or program?
    A learner has 12 months from the start of their enrollment term to successfully complete the micro-credential, course or program in which they are enrolled. It is important for the learner to pace themselves and set aside time each week to stay on track.
  • How do I defer my start date?
    A learner may request in writing to defer their start only if their term has not yet begun and they have not accessed the learning management system.
  • What is the leave of absence and associated readmission process?
    Learners may pause their progress at their discretion, but it is the learner's responsibility to complete their program within the allotted timeframe.
  • What is the Tuition Refund policy for the Vinod Chachra IMPACT Lab?
    Learners who withdraw from IMPACT through census date will not be charged any tuition and fees. Census date is the 15th of the month following enrollment. For example, if a learner enrolls any time during the month of October, s/he could withdraw at any point through November 15th and receive a full tuition refund.
  • What is the withdrawal process?
    To withdrawal from an IMPACT Program or course, the learner must complete the withdrawal request form [PDF] and submit the form to the IMPACT Lab email at impactteam@radford.edu. The process is completed once you receive an email from the Registrar's Office confirming the withdrawal.
  • What is the privacy statement?
    The privacy statement may be found online or in the footer of our website.

Grading Policies

K-12 Education Micro-Credentials Grading Policy (Graduate Grading)

IMPACT's K-12 education micro-credentials adheres to 91制片厂's graduate grading system. IMPACT uses a Pass/Fail grading scale. Per the the following statement applies to IMPACT pass-fail (P/F) courses: P indicates passed with satisfactory work of 鈥淏鈥� or better.

Cybersecurity and Geospatial Program/Course Grading Policy

IMPACT's Cybersecurity and Geospatial programs/courses adhere to 91制片厂's undergraduate grading system. IMPACT uses a Pass/Fail grading scale. Per the the following statement applies to IMPACT pass-fail courses: A passing grade is awarded if the student passed with satisfactory work of 鈥淐鈥� or better.
