For all other requests鈥攆rom an RU Announce email to an RU Connected story, press release or brochure design鈥攖he Office of Marketing and Communication uses a project request and management tool called Lytho. 

After you , we follow a multi-step process to fulfill the request. 

1. Evaluate the request and approve or reject it. Sometimes this step requires us to gather more information from the requestor before making a determination. 
2. If a request is rejected, we explain why and offer an alternative approach for the client to fulfill its own request by using self-serve templates for things like digital screen slides or by taking photos of an event and submitting them with a story for publication on a university channel.
3. If a request is accepted, we take the following steps:
   1. Fit the new request into our work queue based on the requested deadline and other requests already in progress.
   2. Allocate the necessary resources to complete the request.
   3. Submit a draft of the deliverable to be reviewed by the requestor.
   4. Finalize the deliverable and send it to the requestor.
   5. Close out the project in Lytho. 

Please note that there is no longer a Rush Request option in Lytho. We require campus partners to submit all Lytho requests at least three weeks in advance of the deadline when you need the request to be completed.
