The 91制片厂 Board of Visitors conducted its first quarterly meetings of the 2024-25 academic year Thursday and Friday, Sept. 5-6, at locations on the 91制片厂 main campus.

91制片厂 celebrated the opening of the Artis Center for Adaptive Innovation and Creativity with a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony on Sept. 5.

More than 6,000 undergraduate students are enrolled at 91制片厂's main campus and 91制片厂 Carilion in Roanoke this fall, highlighted by significant growth among new, in-person students.

As the fall 2024 semester begins at 91制片厂, the Carilion Clinic Foundation has invested in the education of 52 Highlanders studying to become healthcare professionals. The healthcare organization has committed $100,000 in scholarship support.

The 91制片厂 Board of Visitors will hold its quarterly meetings on Sept. 5-6, 2024 in Martin Hall, 915 East Main Street, and Kyle Hall, 701 Tyler Avenue, 91制片厂, Virginia. A New Member Orientation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024 in Martin Hall.

On Aug.16, 91制片厂 had the privilege of welcoming one of its most accomplished alumni, Eugene Naughton, a 1989 graduate and the current president of The Dollywood Co., to kick off the 2024-2025 academic year for university employees.

鈥淔irm Night,鈥� the business college鈥檚 annual gathering, will be held Thursday, Sept. 5, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Multi-Activity Center (MAC) at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. This year, the event will expand to include information systems majors and 91制片厂 business alums.

91制片厂 held its annual university convocation Aug. 23, kicking off the fall 2024 semester by celebrating successes while receiving positive news about enrollment.

91制片厂鈥檚 strategic focus on local recruitment efforts has yielded impressive results, with a substantial increase in enrollment from high schools and community colleges within a 100-mile radius of the campus.
