91制片厂 became the temporary center of Virginia鈥檚 budget conversation Nov. 20-21 as the Virginia Senate Finance and Appropriations Committee held its annual retreat in Kyle Hall on the main campus.

Marketing faculty members Luke Liska and Maneesh Thakkar and sophomore business student Haley Gilley recently undertook a study of more than 160 people to see how escape room challenges can be used in the classroom. It was named 鈥淏est Paper in Track鈥� at the Society for Marketing Advances 2025 Annual Conference.

Academic Advising in the Highlander Success Center (HSC) won the 2025 Student Choice Award for Holistic Advising from the Advising Success Network.

The doctoral program was named 2025 Program of the Year by the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate, a consortium of more than 160 institutions of higher education across North America.

Four 91制片厂 students and their mentor presented their research at the American Water Resources Association Annual Conference in Westminster, Colorado.

McNulty was the speaker at this semester鈥檚 Truist Global Capitalism Lecture Series on Nov. 6. A senior vice president with Morgan Stanley, he talked about how he rose from 鈥渁 lifelong C student鈥� to the executive suite. He also discussed the current economy and shared invaluable tips for young people about to graduate into the workforce.
